If you’re looking for a new way to hang glass panels without having to stop and consider fastener presentation, then Monarch’s MFTAPE is the system for you. This concealed fastener system, which is among the newer glass hanging systems on the market, offers customers a clean and simple way to mount all types of glass applications.

In addition to fastener concealment and simple installation, the MFTAPE system allows customers to:

  • Easily remove glass panels
  • Use a pre-applied adhesive for peel-and-stick application
  • Mount glass quickly and simply with Monarch Z Clips

While mounting glass often means using exposed fasteners, Monarch’s MFTAPE makes a seamless appearance possible by including two pre-applied strips of 3M VHB architectural tape. Using a simple peel-and-stick method, the aluminum MFTAPE bracket is applied to the glass panel. From there, it’s ready to engage with wall-mounted Monarch Z Clips. This particular system pairs with Monarch’s MF375 clip.

mftape_drawing2With each foot of the MFTAPE rated for 7.5 pounds of shear strength, this durable system is well suited for a variety of both interior and exterior applications. Additionally, the system’s hidden fastening components provide a clean and simple solution for mounting glass artwork, wall panels, facade panels, and countless other applications.

The system works best with non-porous substrates and is available in lengths up to 12 feet. For raw glass applications where the glass is not painted, Monarch can incorporate one of the 3M Structural Glazing tapes for optimal adhesion characteristics.

  1. My glazing contractor is insisting that we need to use an L metal at the base of our glass panel installation. He is saying that the Silicone adhesive is not very strong in a shear condition and the L metal is there to prevent the panel form sagging down the wall. Would this tape have a staring enough shear value to eliminate that L metal?

We are using your MFSTR-050 clips to hold Plywood off the wall. And the Glass is siliconed to that plywood.

I have to commend you again on the MFTAPE z clips. I have used them many times, with Primer 94, with great success. I have installed Trespa panels withhtese, Corian panels, Wilsonart panels and some of the 1cm thick porcelain and engineered stone panels would work well on these. I am here because I am sending a link to a friend to recommend this product to them.
